* It's weird not having a cell phone, or watch, or radio station, T.V., Internet and News. I like it. Life is more simple to a point where you can enjoy your time more. To a point that makes you prioritize what is important in your life.
Stopped at a couple spots along the highway (above). Caught a couple rainbows, spent about 20 mins, but no one really feeling this spot. Stopped again in Palmer where I thought we would camp for the night, but again no one was really interested in staying or fishing there. Dave said we should head all the way to Anchorage. As we get closer to "Civilization" (cars, light poles, accident, cops, radio stations etc.) Especially Radio stations, Joey's mood was uplifted, actually sing to a Melissa Ethridge song! and saying loudly, " Look how happy we all are!!", yet David was completley opposite, his mood diminished as we grew closer to town, becoming more and more depressed (actually noting it was depressing).
