The ride back was long. saving a few minutes by just reaching a railroad crossing as the arms started to come down. Gas tank filled - said goodbyes - and off we went. (60 mile round trip in the middle of the night, We're pretty nice guys huh?) Reach our pulloff around 1:30 am Dave and I climbed on the top of the R.V. to check out the stars...OH MY GOD! I had never seen that many stars before. A few shooting stars and a sattelite later...time for bed. * Saw northern lights vaguely earlier in the night.
