*From "into the Wild"..."Happiness is only real if shared"

* I don't want to leave.

Note left in the Chalet's Journal: (Dave writing)

This was the last leg of our journey through Alaska. We really enjoyed staying here, relaxing and fishing the river. You have built an excellent place. "Captain Pat" at the Johnson Brothers was the best guide. We left this card so anyone can see the pictures of our journey across the state

(MY card crudely attached below with medical tape)

I woke up at 9am everyone already up. Ate bacon and then Dave cooked the rest of the unfrozen salmon. We cleaned up wrote the note in the journal, which has been in the Chalet since it was built. I read a bunch of the previous visitors notes.

After errands: we stopped at an Antler and rock store (above). Very cool stuff, carvings in antlers, flint knives, jade jewelry, stones and I bought a caribou antler "fish bopper".
    Back to Anchorage.
* Everyone who can appreciate nature's beauty needs to come here. Maybe on the cruise or the Train, (not sure if MOM could do that). The RV works great as well!. Alaska I believe can only be experienced, all attempts at my explaining or photographing are utterly feudal.

Stopped at rest area to pee, unaware that Dave and Joey had a plan...
