It has been the longest (literally) 10 days of my life, each one packed with so many memories. The visual stimulation made not having phones and radio stations not just bearable, but enjoyable. I was surprised at how well we all got along. Little spurts here and there, but that was the least I had expected. We stayed with good spirits even after being tired, hungry and not catching fish (a dangerous combo!. We worked well with each other, finding out things to do, laughing and joking almost constantly. Alaska is no joke. You must be constantly aware of your surroundings. Maybe I was too cautious, I felt a heightened and acute awareness and alertness to my surroundings every time I moved away from the group. Half of me really wanting to see something in the wild and the other half fearing I would. I have to give Dave a huge thanks for allowing us the opportunity to visit here. I am truly grateful.
